Holiday Glamour

Do you dare wear bold lip colors? I take the dare. Normally, I stick to nudes and light pinks, but I am gutsying up for the holidays. Nothing screams holiday glamour to me than a deep rouge on the lips. It’s decadent. In making this video, I was pretty excited to bring alive the look the best I can. Translating the idea from my head to face and video was a bit tricky, but here’s what I got :)

I downplayed the eyeshadow since the attention will be on the kissers. I went with a sheer white shimmer all over the eyelid as a base and some sparkly glittery icy blues in the corners of my eyes to make it really pop. It sucks that I am emerging from a few lovely breakouts, but the show must go on, right?

I love the winged liner/cat eye look. It adds an extra kick to the look. This time i smudged it out a bit so the lines aren’t too harsh, especially on the bottom line. A light pink blush to keep your cheeks rosy and finish of with the bold red lip — red wine in this case!
