It’s all in the details…
Wildly excited to the see the new fall line from Botkier! After speaking with the amazing people from Shine Media PR about how much the new collection will blow your mind, I was, of course, giddy with anticipation.
Also new this season is a the location of the showroom! I snapped a few pictures of the new digs to give you guys a little sneak peek. :)
On to the bags. Really strong and cohesive collection! I love the use of such bold colors in the skins. Amidst the dyed cowhides and lambskin, was the gorgeous lizard embossing. Texture is such a great detail to play with, but not the only one Monica Botkier used. There was a lot of attention to detail in each bag, down to their names. I could sit and analyze it all day, but the highlights are below!

Starry Night Crossbody & Trigger Clutch in Electric Purple

Trigger Line in Cayenne, mmm spicy!

Trigger Line in Ash

The Sebastian bags in Pearl Sand (above) immediately caught my eye with the scaling effect the leather is manipulated to show.

Apollo line in Forest Green

One of my favorite photos, the Flint bags in Dijon, the color is just so fierce.

Juno Satchel & Hobo in a fantastic T-Moro Leopard. Rawr.

Juno Line in Pearl Sand

Sebastian Hobo & Shoulder Bag in an ultra-rich Hunter Green

The Lake Hobo in a multitude of Plum shades

Brinks Shoulder Bag & Satchel in Saddle

Now to my favorite, the Misha collection, inspired by a bag Monica’s grandparents had. It is so classic, sophisticated and chic. the hardware can deliver instant class to any outfit. Great item for day to night flexibility as well. The clutch is my favorite.
