I was in for such a treat last night when I went to Kitten Lounge’s tweetup hosted by accessories expert and founder Kimmie Smith! I need to give her kudos for organizing an intimate evening with only 10 style influencers in the room. There has been so much noise all over the space that this was a much needed reprieve.
The event was held at the super chic Polished Beauty Bar (250 W 78th Street), founded by sisters Micki and Susan Nam. The great thing about this place is that they only use polishes and products that are safe, organic and sanitary. They even use a shoe cleaning machine during pedicures by Klenz. *note to self: must go back and check that out!
Polished is also the first nail salon I’ve been to that carries this much polish from Zoya! So deciding the color to use for my manicure was tough.
Luckily, the matte colors caught my eye!
…and I ended up using two different colors!
Skittles fingers! I love the final result. The matte texture of my nails is quite refreshing.

Before heading to the event, I curled my hair and added a pearly touch with this classic pearl strand headband. Also, I was test-driving my new lipstick from Rouge Dior - 766 Fuchsia Star :)
